Backing on to the city
walls, this house, parts of which could date back to the
16th century, was the parish presbytery
(priest's house) until the Revolution. Declared in 1791
as belonging to the nation (bien national), the building
is listed in the local land registry of 1809 as town hall
and temporary church. |
